Christmas Fayre 2010

Christmas is coming round again and the first social function at St. Columba's is the ever popular Christmas Fayre. Here we see what is probably the main attraction, the "cake stand" manned (or perhaps "girled" in PC speak) by Ann Le Bas, Elaine McEwen and Gina Baker. There were many more goodies under the table to replenish those which you can see.

It was early at the "Coffee Shop" but that didn't stop Jean Wilson getting in there quick. I think I might have been second and was ably served by Anne-Marie Meiklejohn and Fiona Smith.

Jill Osmont who manned (or womanned) the Christmas Card stall talking to Caroline Ludlow, who later organized the Lucky Dip.
The Clothes, Trinkets and Toys stall became a lot busier later on as you will see below

Joan Finch and June Bray did good business at the Bottle Stall.

Two of Santa's helpers, Daphne Robertson and Anne Ratazzi, obviously enjoying themselves serving at the Clothes Stall.

Things did get a bit busier later on.

Lastly, Masie Robertson was in charge of the "Treasure Trove". I wonder who found it? I think that it was a Christmas cake.
